What Is LogmehLA?

Logmeh (pronounced- low-gh-meh)- farsi; to savor in one bite

LogmehLA is a cultural dining experience designed to foster community. It’s an authentic Middle Eastern feast set in unique locations around Los Angeles. We invite guest to join us for an evening around the fire, to celebrate and take part as we play with one of life’s greatest enjoyments, EATING.

In California, we have access to some of the best seasonal produce in the country. This access helps accentuate Iranian cuisine; with long and slow cooking times that define Eastern food. Dishes like slow roasted Geymeh Lapeh (red lentils, unctuous pieces of lamb shank, and juicy tomatoes) cooked over the fire and bathed over crispy Saffron Tadig. Or Feysenjan, a 26-hour walnut and prune stew sauced over fire roasted quail. The food at Logmeh is soul food done with elegance and you can taste the tradition and the love that goes into making the perfect “logmeh”.

At Logmeh we’re honored to cook with fire and blessed with the ability to do so. We set the Sofreh (table spread), pour some drinks, and cultivate a space to let the magic happen. We take pride in encouraging guests to be involved by taking turns tearing bread, as it builds a sense of belonging. And the beauty of it all ~ you may be doing it all while sitting next to a stranger!

So, when it’s time to eat, be prepared to use your fingers, double dip and get a lil messy! It’s part of the fun!
